They will be moved to the Grey Market, and many brokers won't allow trading. This is what E-Trade says:

Starting September 28, 2021, you will no longer be able to buy or sell “Pink No Information” OTC securities through E*TRADE.

Etrade no longer allows BUYS (one can still SELL) for non-current pinkies. They stopped yesterday. I read that on Sept. 3 TD will stop as well. (Fidelity never allowed trading of non-current pinkies. Or so I've been told). But on Sept. 28 the new SEC Rule kicks in:

On September 28, 2021, companies trading in the United States over-the-counter securities markets (“OTC Markets”) that do not comply with amended Rule 15c-211 will no longer be eligible for quotation on the OTC Markets, effectively eliminating their public quotation in the United States.
