The longer I sit on the sidelines, the more I believe the industry has spoken with regards to Sigma's software.
If I have a room filled with 20 printers constantly printing parts, I need a damn good reason (legal or otherwise) to pony up 3 million or so for inspection software, in addition to a yearly licensing agreement. It's clear that Sigma has software that the industry likes from a learning standpoint, but doesn't necessarily require to have for in-situ inspection purposes. If it did, the software would be in high demand.
We can sit here all day and name drop different companies that have worked with Sigma in the past or even purchased a unit, but to date not a single company has acted as if they need the software for their production runs with a purchase order of more than one or two units.
