i believe he has been setting himself up to control the company...i dont know that he wants to own it...perhaps he will one day own prodigy...
i dont know if anyone (even kim ) realizes that prodigy belongs to bruce le...Vietnam only allows kblb to do business there because of bruce le...as far as all the workers, suppliers etc are concerned, they work for bruce le...
bruce le set up the kings group relationship...as far as they are concerned, they are doing business with bruce le and prodigy...and as that business grows, so will le's influence...
in the deal that kim has with Vietnam, kim is required to build a state of the art lab facility at prodigy...and r/d will be conducted there...
at that point, prodigy can survive and thrive on its own...at that point, what will they need kblb for?...kblb will not be able to survive and thrive without prodigy...unless they begin domestic production...but looking at how they fired their chief scientist and are taking away equipment from the Michigan lab, they are moving in the wrong direction...
maybe kim is seeing bruce le's influence expanding and is realizing he is slowly losing control...
perhaps thats why kim is sending prodigy old crap from their lab instead of buying new equipment...and why he waited so long to buy cheap equipment that could have prevented bottlenecks from happening in the first place...
hes trying to slow things down and is desperate to regain control of prodigy...but i said years ago that he was giving a whole lot of control over to bruce le...and really never had control..
but he also never had a choice once he tried and failed to "get er done" himself...
but hey, what do i know?...
