......Holiday weekend, no moon, great for looking up at the stars here....
In doing so, maybe a different perspective
We can't wrap our heads around The Universe...Planets, Stars, Galaxies, A Trillion Galaxies!!! We seem so small, just a mere speck in the darkness...
We haven't come to the basic realization we are 'already' part of The Universe...
Being a part of something bigger than ourselves has always been a goal of man, be it religion, politics, A Country or Empire, a club or organization, all fans of the same sports team, people who rally for a cause.......
But we haven't looked up collectively and felt the embarrassment that we are actually part of all we see and can't see...
Till we do, the globe looks big......In short, we are all 'Us', there are no 'thems',,,We are 'part' of this universe, not a speck in it...
Someday that should bring the comfort we need to act accordingly, that we belong to something bigger than ourselves and start putting our best foot forward and leaving the embarrassment of the past behind...
