Experts, of course, make mistakes; s'why they're not called infallibles.

That said, which of these two should earn our trust most often? People whose education and profession equip them with knowledge and judgement that are based upon an apolitical science based methodology and approach to issues and problems, or conspiracy theory believing, conclusion jumping, ideologues who pull their arguments out of their asses?
