@flute, To me, anything positive coming out of SKIPPING chemo is a huge win in the grand scheme of things. So, them playing ball with SOC as part of the trial has actually hurt their cause from a market standpoint. That's a shame, but it was smart to design it that way b/c otherwise they might've gotten crushed by BP.
IMO the faulty assumption in the big picture is that "SOC" is a good thing and needs to exist. Personally, I feel that is FALSE. Patients get destroyed by SOC. MK only looks bad right now relative to its applicability to ALL of SOC patient population. Who says chemo is a good thing in the first place? Problem is, that's the measuring stick the market is using right now (obviously, -28% and two halts)
