Sorry but that's just incorrect.

The UW's were NEVER guaranteed $72M for being in any class...in fact it's only if a minimum of $10B comes back do they get $72M for their contested Class 19 claim.

The other one was a Class 18 claim for $24M that the WMILT outright denied, which is why they settled for the $72M Class 19 claim in the 2013 Stip.

Will agree with you that it's possible they knew that Class 19 would be paid and that's why they didn't fight for the Class 18 $24M but at this point that's pure speculation.

All everyone can do at this point is hope those putting out +ve Escrow DD like AZ et al are spot on.
