I'm still wondering why Judge Walrath denied Rosen's request especially since, for the most part, she granted every one of his requests thereafter. Not that I fully understand the process, even though I had thirteen years to figure it out and I have only myself to blame, I still don't get it. Maybe you can help me to understand it.

Well, on this I agree, because you took my comment out of context.
Alice is looking for Bankruptcy remote assets and the “vehicle” she is using for discovery is the Underwriters.

Rosen is trying to shut her down by claiming there is nothing to discover inside the Bankruptcy, while wording it cleverly to deceive as if the Bankruptcy Court had jurisdiction over what Alice is seeking to discover that is actually outside the Court’s jurisdiction.
The EDNY Judge has a broader scope than a Bankruptcy Judge and can order discovery.

Cowboy, if im gettin your message right youre sayin in por6 the plan was to hide the mbs assets and leave just enough there to cover creditor debt. That meant equity would be wiped out and the hf's would've walked away with wmihc and all the assets it(coop) holds. So basically the only difference now with por7 is that instead of them owning everything for themselves it has to be shared with equity holders? Is that basically it in a nutshell?
