NUE is a long term core holding for me in a tax deferred retirement account, with automatic reinvestment of dividends at no cost to me. As I posted about a month ago:

Lightened up my NUE position a bit this week in the $100 range in order to partially fund my 2021 RMD from that account, but still hold a large position here. Heard from one seasoned wealth management specialist that at least part of the reason for the recent surge may have been some shorts getting caught with their pants down on NUE. Don't know for sure but the run here has been fantastic
