China is going after bitcoin pretty hard. They're now trying to crack down on crypto miners. Wouldn't surprise me if it was because they wanted to do it themselves. They'll allow crypto again eventually, once they figure out how to profit off everyone.
Musk scrapped his plans that would intertwine Tesla and bitcoin. Thats what happens when you have a celebrity corporate sponsor. You leave your price tag at their mercy.
Like the SFM peeps have said, typically what happens to one, happens to all.
Purely selfish motivations, I'm ok if it stays like this for a bit. I want to buy more but we all have to adult first. I gots bills. And we have to remember how lucky we are to have currency as strong as we do. Meaning the power of the dollar, euro, pound, etc. Africa isn't. Could be that this actually benefits us in the long term if it stays like this for a while as it allows that market a better opportunity to get in on it too. More people = more burn. All IMO.
