I'm more with hweb on this one. I think our memories are getting pretty short and it's easy to forget how lots of stocks with good growth would languish for months, even years, at low multiples.
Don't know why this stock is $25 when they don't hedge their fuel purchases. Sub-$20 a share would seem more reasonable. I guess the increased passenger miles for the current quarter will more than offset the added fuel expense.
I'm finished with airline stocks for the foreseeable future. They have taken on debt, the stock prices are already at or above pre-pandemic levels, and oil is high. JMO.
