States that if AMD could have done more with their demo without crashing, they would have. "More" as in a more CPU intensive application, or more concurrency, or more time showing the demonstration. Or more up front about the configuration and the machine under test.
You tried to claim earlier that I said that NO applications other than Task Manager would run. I did not claim this, and in fact, I have even stated that simple scripts ought to be able to run if Windows can at least get booted past the login screen.
But more to my main point, showing Task Manager says almost nothing about the overall health of the CPU, and that running a real workload - ANY workload in fact - would have made a better demo than simply running Task Manager for a matter of a few seconds.
Re: FWIW, I wish they had done a more fancy demo.
It's a start, but I would have respected you more if you simply owned up to that crazy line of yours that claimed everything in a system was working (except virtualization and floating point), as long as you could boot Windows. Honestly, it seems like a statement made in haste that wasn't well thought out, so owning up to it should be easy, even for most oversized egos. So it's surprising to see you still go to great lengths to pretend it didn't happen, and instead focus the blame on me. It certainly says a lot about you.
