Very bad weather for corn planting. Not enough rain. Rainfall has been low all year. Believe it or not, there is a lot of agriculture in Maryland--mostly on its Eastern Shore.
Went to Korean grocery store yesterday. Bought 2 big ears of yellow corn-50 cents an ear--thick ears. Only had about 2 dozen. $6 a dozen for early corn is reasonable. It might have come from Mexico. Yellow corn is hard to find in this age of GMO crops.
