Same percent of people who think that all government officials are corrupt at all levels also don’t trust anything the media says. I was with a dozen friends recently who are Independent, Dems and Reps...all of them said government is corrupt.

No doubt there are many good people in government. As there are doctors, lawyers, and in your police force. There are assholes in all of those places too.
You are obviously one of those who get your rocks off by putting good people down. Lazy generalizations reflect lazy thinking. Or inability to see things more critically. Or a mixture of the two.
