as though any theory being in the mainstream is an important factor in it's factual basis. In it's reliability. Hell, there is no proof that any involved and influential God is actually influencing anything, yet millions worldwide believe there is one up there. Or out there. The believe that a powerful, all knowing and powerful God is as widespread as any other theory in any mainstream you could care to name. That's not to say that mainstream credibility is unimportant. It is one factor for consideration. But, well, you must get the mainstream belief in God point just offered.

i've been there. more in the mainstream in this case could just mean that it is being promoted more.

Until a majority of respected scientists support the leaky lab theory it's not the best one around.
