Agreed, but it makes it a lot harder for retailers to buy crypto, which means that there will be less demand from China.
Personally, I don't think it is a huge deal. If this happened in the US, then it would be a huge deal (since the US is the #1 consumer nation in the world by far). But China is less than 1/3 of consumer spending compared to the US.
