Still reading the article, but even if swift wants it all, they still can't compete with XRP's tech. and the transaction cost of xrp conversions.

Doesn't say much about a swift conversion process, which xrp can do now for so cheap.

SWIFT knows they are ancient and will get run over by DeFi and efficient virtual currency networks. now they are scrambling to do something. i dont see how they are magically going to create something from ground up. it would make more sense to use Ripple and $XRP as it's already well established. I guess we shall see.
