BTW, I already know the answers to my questions. It happened with $GME.
While you guys were trying to cover there were those looking for a ride up also buying which made your covering much harder. Back then $GME was ~$50, settled out and eventually went back up to $250. Many hopped on the $GME train at $50 and rode bode rode... all the way back into the mid $250s.
