In the 1970s and 1980s, legislators tried to balance evolution by teaching creationism, creation science and intelligent design as well.
That was a poor excuse to try and introduce the word of the Bible back into public education. And it is not science or intelligent design as anyone with a brain would tell you.
And CRT has nothing to do with Marxism or socialism.
It looks at the history of races throughout the years.
I compare CRT to Philosophy (which was my major in college). Are we going to outlaw by legislation some of the writings of some of the Philosophers just because they doubted the existence of god?
We will be burning everything written by Nietzsche.
My son had a Civics teacher in high school that was a diehard Republican and an ex-Marine.
When Tillis ran against Hagan for senate he had put up a campaign sign in his classroom for Tillis.
I said wait a minute I wanted equal time and got a Hagan sign and he put it up as well.
Before school started I'd check in with him in his class room and the kids were loving us going back and forth.
By the time the election came around just about everyone in the school knew about us actually teaching what Civics was all about.
