AVNWheck, it sold off to under $25 after last quarters great earnings. Not saying it will, but I could certainly see it selling off to $25 on this quarter's numbers. Who knows... would be a nice buy opp, imo.

AVNW (34.03) the company seems well positioned for growth but Mar Q3 was decidedly lackluster .... revenues down 6% sequentially, gross income down 5% sequentially and operating income down a hefty 34% sequentially even after backing out the restructuring expense. Maybe Q3 is seasonally weak, but that's not mentioned specifically in the 10K. Let's hope they do better in Q4 but we'll have to wait until late August to find out.

I'll probably pick up a few shares tomorrow if it sells off into the mid to upper $20's on the premise that this remains a long term growth story, but I wouldn't want a large position. That recent giant $200M shelf filing is also a concern. Hopefully they're not planning to use much of it.

In the upper $20's the stock does start to look cheap. At the very least it should be a good trader in the coming months.

AVNW we both know they are being conservative; and I know they explained in the conf call why they didnt raise guidance for the year.... basically they feel the Dec quarter was kinda one-timish since it had a very large one time project in it, so they want you to look at the yearly guidance as more of a normalized number.

Nevertheless.. with only one quarter left in their fiscal year; if someone looks at AVNW for the first time and uses their yearly guidance they 'reitterated' in the conf call... and if the use the midpoint of guidance and backs out the firt nine months of they FY, well that leaves the first time looking investor with prospects of an ugly ass fourth quarter.

So maybe some are looking at it that way?
