It used to drive me nuts when I heard all my friends have cellphones why can't I?

Talk about peer pressure BS and parents who didn't give a damn what their kids were posting late at night.

I finally gave in and said when I see all Bs or above you get a phone but I get all the passwords.

And the rule was don't post anything online that you wouldn't want you mother to read or I'll cut you off in a NY minute.

But the underlying problem is schools don't think they need to teach kids about social media and responsibility. So when a kid gets bullied he ends up committing suicide and the school has a memorial service.

And then they become part of the problem as well as parents.

We give kids a cellphone at an early age but neither teach them how to use it or monitor their activity as parents and teachers.

However... Kids have always bitched about their schools and their teachers. That is not exactly new. And it shouldn't be a big deal.
