I am accused of hating the humanities just now, lol... nothing could be further from the truth as I look to them and not those of higher education with an agenda or have been told what to think and by following it, have found success only to blame the victims of capitalism run amuck....
No the humanities look past agenda and teach us to think for ourselves so that we might understand what we plainly see, question it, understand it for what it truly is and look for solutions to it....To me, that is critical thinking at its best...
Much to read and I thank you for your time and effort, I already see many things that 'fit the 'bill' so to speak.....
Higher education can be a tool for good, it can also be abused so as to blind and control those who look no further than a more simple life or can be used to gain a better life than those they would abuse to get it....
Labeling the insanity we see may not be necessary but in the search for one, solutions may well be found to combat it..
