Well, in theory, DC has the whole congress that is supposed to look out for it, so the have 'every' representative of congress...(Back to part of my post...)
Off the top, looks the easiest way to fix it may be to allow the voters to vote as voters of Maryland.....Sounds sensible,,,,,
I can envision New York City wanting to become a state, Chicago or LA....Much, bigger in size and population......I can here the false equivalencies now by them.....
Then hey, California or Texas could stand very well as a country in their own right...
And what about the US flag!....Lol
