I added some AVNW on the Dish-Amazon news. Maybe I've posted about the stock too much, I just think below $30 it's one of the more attractively priced growth stocks in an expensive market. I know the stock has had a huge run (as it should), but this one still seems underfollowed and off the radar. Go back and read through the last 2 earnings PRs and CC transcripts. Writing seems to be on the wall. New CEO has quickly got the company firing on all cylinders. The past 2 quarters of blockbuster results are all the more impressive considering:

1. These numbers were put up during a pandemic. AVNW should benefit as things reopen and the economy rebounds.

2. The strong results of the last 2 quarters were before AVNW signed up Tier 1 customer Dish in February. This agreement is all the more exciting after the news yesterday of Dish teaming up with Amazon on 5G. Seems like this could be BIG for AVNW-

3. The last earnings PR mentioned all the billions to be spent by the government on rural broadband:

"Aviat again increased its share of demand in Rural Broadband by being awarded a contract with Nextlink Internet to support their rapidly growing business and their focus on bringing high-speed internet to rural America, a market in which we are well-positioned and one that will benefit from meaningful government funding, including the $9 billion 5G Fund for Rural America and the $20 billion Rural Digital Opportunity Fund.”

This doesn't even include the Biden infrastructure plan. Which I read includes another $100B for broadband. We'll see how much gets passed. But the increased broadband spending seems to be one of the few areas with bipartisan support.


AVNW recently did a 2-for-1 stock split. That suggests to me they see a long runway of growth ahead. There seems to be a healthy amount of hiring going on at the company. Quite a few job listings on their website, including several in the last week-

I'm looking forward to earnings on 5/5/21. The earnings estimates look very low. Plenty of room for AVNW to crush those estimates. Like more than double the .27 estimate. We'll see. Ya never know with earnings, otherwise I'd have my whole portfolio in this one.
