The conversation grew out of speculation about the level of functionality AMD displayed with their December K8L demo. Add ing to that was the announcement by Intel in their CC that they had working samples of Penryn that ran 4 different OSs. We know very little more than that about either CPU but the question came up, how much functionality is needed to run task manager?
