I do have some interest in mining stocks, although I've never owned one. Scammy stocks have long fascinated me. Financial and accounting shenanigans are a specialty of mine. My son is a CPA. I don't see how one can reliably research foreign mining operations. You don't see Warren Buffett in mining stocks (although he briefly owned a tiny amount of Barrick recently)
