Can't picture where that is. My elementary school was Sperling Ave. as i recall. This is probably on the same site.

I went to a kindergarten, maybe even on Kingsway. Crossed to Kingsway from N. Burnaby i think on Sperling Ave. Then turned left up Kingsway. Dad killed a cow with his car on that highway once. I remember as a little guy he showed me the cow lying across a ditch from the road. There was snow on the ground and not a mark between where the cow lay on it's side, and the road. I remember being amazed the cow looked fine except it had a little hole in it's side.
