The infrastructure bill is a good start for many different reasons, if it not burdened with dem goodies.....I should like to see as a clean as bill as possible...But neither side is very good at that..
Politics is now so toxic the the good reps seem pushed aside by both parties and neither side of the aisle is willing to tackle the issues that have brought America to its current level of decay..
As both parties push extreme views, common sense and compromise see little light.....Part of Biden's plan is to look to the future and embrace it, like all past empires we will either do that or decay to the point of collapse, the status quo is not acceptable......Sad part is both parties tend to block any good ideas by the other......
So what will we do now? Shoot ourselves in the foot most likely, I'm not so sure we can get past toxicity like you and I just have and you can't half ass things, go to extremes or never tackle root causes....
If we can politicize a virus and even its cure without coming together it just doesn't bode well....And I think there are forces that just don't want to see unity...
I try to be optimistic and look at how capable we really are but man has a way of letting power get in the way of those capabilities and civilization tends to need to start over from time to time...
