Thanks Obama! Got my first jab yesterday. Little muscle pain at the point of entry but no real adverse effects. Looking forward to 80% of the population being vaccinated and the other 20%(MAGA peabrains)taking each other out! Cull the herd! Cull the herd!

Obama's contribution to rapid vaccine development highlighted in hearing

The most important contribution of Obama's Administration is outside the mRNA preliminary funding.

https://www.fda.gov/downloads/EmergencyPreparedness/Counterterrorism/MedicalCountermeasures/UCM380269.pdf" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" >PAHPRA Act

Which made it easier for the HHS to declare a national health emergency. Along with giving the FDA more empowerment to issue EUAs, and dramatically decrease the time of clinical trials.

Now imagine tRUMP, and the Returdicans deciding on the flea, how the FDA should operate with EUAs after the HHS declared an emergency in Jan 2020. With an Administration that tried to gut anything put into place during the Obama Administration. It would've been pandemonium. As it was every time tRUMP tried to short circuit what the FDA was trying to accomplish with the vaccines, he was probably reminded, his best course of action was to stop yapping, and wire his butt tight. The result was vaccine testing was sped up by the FDA in spite of tRUMP. It did not require his participation.
