Not sure what exchanges you use, but 3% is excessive. Most do not leave their crypto on exchanges for safety reasons, and rightly so.
I get 800+ interest a week from NEXO covering any fees in less than a week.
Their insurance policy is no longer 100MM. It is now 375MM.
I don't remember paying 3% at coinbase pro when I transfered my BTC, xrp, and xlm to nexo. I move my XLM from CB pro and paid less than .4 of an xlm for that move. Just looked at my pro account, they charged NOTHING to withdraw XLM. The highest fee I can find on CB is .5%

My XRP was dead money on Coinbase so I moved it to NEXO. I haven't tried to take anything back out yet. Hoping XRP runs and/or the interest I earn will cover fees when I withdraw. The move was not part of a tax strategy. I figured I'd be better off earning interest on my XRP at NEXO rather than leaving it to stagnate at Coinbase.
