Good story. Well done. About 96% by a tiny personal survey of public bus riders in NSW now wear masks.
It's mandatory on public transport. Recommended now in other places where social distancing is difficult.

And this is our covid situation:

Locally acquired COVID-19 cases and tests in the last four weeks - up to 8pm 3 March 2021
COVID-19 cases and tests by local health district
https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/Infectious/covid-19/Pages/stats-local.aspx

II mentioned earlier more are wearing masks on public transport now than back when more covid was around.

Back to the flying you mentioned a post back, you're right. Travel restrictions Australia-wide were very important in our getting covid under control. It's essential. There was no federal decree on that. Too little federal leadership on much of it here, too. States though have done a much better job. And populace.

Zorax: Love the story wish I had been there to see it. Reminds me of a time in a gas station on 149 in Houston. The place was run by to guys from India wearing turbans. A guy comes in to use the bathroom, and they tell him no public restroom. They dude had to go real bad but they kept saying no. About that time two cops came in, and they told the two turbans in Texas you sell food or drink you have to have a public restroom. The turbans started to say something and saw the guns a badge and walked the guy to restroom.
