Lightrock: I was addressing what Cramer & Kersten were talking about in their posts about short sellers....i.e. being long puts instead of being short stock as a reduced way to "be short"
You are inferring selling calls (covered) and selling puts with cash reserve I assume (to buy stock at a discount by taking in premiums....different story.
