Honestly, you may have nailed all the possibilities. Reality is a lot of old tickers have risen in '21.
Until we see something with OTC getting updated [like say the TA & share #'s] It is just watching the ticks. Saw it come alive & it's an interesting view. For a shell, that Share Structure (if current) is quite appealing. Volume has been semi consistent. Maybe these will be the "next wave" of OTC runner. Recent SEC amendments may be making these old tickers more valuable for restructure & mergers. haven't seen anything on the Utah SOS so far.

There are several possible reasons for the phoenix-like life of CKYS. I am going with the list in Occam's razor order.

1) It was so cheap that a group of gamblers found the stock and decided to buy it to establish momentum.
2) Now add a story planted (excuse the pun) on social media and this takes on a life of its own to the benefit of the gamblers who may not know enough to realize that they have created a pump and dump.
3) Someone really is doing a slow motion pump and dump. If they are, my hat is off to them. They have been very disciplined and subtle
4) Someone is taking control and going to clean this up to get a cheap shell.
5) Shorts had to cover for some reason after nearly a decade. They accidentally created a buying surge.
6) Jimmy's getting the band back together!!!

Dickmo put me down for number 4. Another dead one rose from the grave today, SPDC. Went from a penny to .07 on 450,000 shares. Very curious behavior. But I'll take it.

All this volume and price action must be making some old bag holders from a decade ago happy, if they even remember holding this stock...... Wish i knew these price levals were even possible
