From a strictly scientific standpoint, I concur. However, we can’t be certain that there will still be a large market for COVID-19 antivirals a few years from now, so the NPV of ENTA’s COVID-19 program needs to be discounted somewhat to account for the commercial uncertainty.

Oral protease inhibitors are ENTA’s bailiwick. I’m surprised that PFE got to this stage first.
