I did say " The group is out of favor" . Whether one in the group underperforms the other has now become which one is a worse performer then the other. If that provides some comfort to Longs owning FCEL, at least it eases watching the erosion of profits.
I also advised NOTto BUY as it dropped. The term "catching a falling knife" was used. Yet, paying no respect to the technicals,ignoring or dismission the value of charts and indicators or simply not knowing how to read one , some bought at $24, then $20, then $17 and probably still buying today.
I'd be very interested in WHAT IBD says now.... when its a little late. Can you provide?
When the market sours on a stock ( in this case OVERVALUATION)it shows no mercy. FCEL is one of those and the drop seen, feeds on itself, until its all washed out. After that, months and months of repair is needed before it "might" recover.
The short term trend is down and is threatening the intermediate term trend. The stock will continue to slide and the "falling knife" will still fall.
More downside coming. Breaking $16 could be a path to $12.
