If you pull OTC data, you do see there are quite a few dormant tickers. But with brokers locking people out on CE plays, it is becoming harder to find what a good shell may be. The SEC recently made some amendments that will go into effect in Sept that makes the whole shell/reverse merger play a bit more lengthy/difficult in duration & may be the reason there may be a rush to the current available tickers.
There may be a gold rush occurring in dormant companies with the possibility of cleanups/reinstatement on the state level. CKYS has shown nothing beyond the volume/price move, whereas a ticker like HKBV has shown updated TA/Share Structure data on OTC. Seems many are at different stages.. Good Luck on it.
