I suspect it more than saved a few from throwing more money away.

That would be a good thing, would it not? Probably a few out there that would have paid much higher prices that were totally caught up in the hype.

You avoided the question...Did 4 days of sell only or buy 1 share effect the stock price..

I honestly don't know. That depends on how much short covering there was. We don't have an answer to that. But in every short squeeze I've followed, the fun ends suddenly. The stock just starts selling off dramatically.

That may in part be because the shorts cover enough for the price rise to slow. But I think it also has to do with smart players who realize the music is about to stop, and sell in the hope of ending up with a chair.

But you STILL don't seem to grasp the fact that Robinhood and the other brokers HAD NO CHOICE. They had to meet their net capital requirements. Their CLEARING AGENTS shut them down temporarily. And if they hadn't done it, FINRA would have.

As I said in a post last night, nobody was gonna take on Robinhood's risk without being paid handsomely for it.
