Most of the short covering occurred on Thursday, when the stock fell for the first time in six days.

And so I think we can assume much more short covering has taken place since then, based on the same logic.

They even admitted they don’t plan on covering.

Of course they plan on covering. They don't want to keep paying those ridiculous fees forever.
