Well, I do believe that there WAS a Hemp Beer, Inc. spin-off but it's not publicly traded. And it seems that there hasn't been anything happening with the Tiger Hemp Beer vs Heineken court case for quite some time:

Anyhow, I guess my point was that the PR itself seems to have been worthless. Well, except for it, perhaps, being yet another attempt for Tilton to pump up the share price back then.

You have no idea about those dividend shares. They were given before Hemp Beer was even a glint in JT's eyes. Those dividend shares were simply a gift to shareholders. Whatever any shareholder had on the ex-dividend date, NSAV gifted 1 share for every 10. At that time, I had 5M, so I got 500K. They were originally issued incorrectly - they were unrestricted. They recalled them, then reissued them as restricted. That's where we are today - almost 3 years of 'dividend' shares, just sitting there with a numerical ticker, and still restricted. We OWN those shares - they cannot be recalled without paying us for them.
