No not at all. what happened was an attack and stops being hit on the way down. I never trade with a stop as it just becomes a target and mostly likely gets taken out. SS is tight. Buy and hold outside of a margin account which makes it more difficult for share to be borrowed. Put a real high sell order on your shares. These things help to thwart a short attack. Grab all you can on sell offs. Hold hold hold.
