#363429 RE: Zorax #363425

I hate politics. I'm not fond of politicians either, but hate is too strong of a word for them. I don't hate Trump, nor do I love Biden. I do look at the leaders, instead of the party, and as we all who witnessed the last 4 years can attest, the leader controls the party, therefore I listen carefully to those who would head up their respective parties.

I liked Regan, although I was a teen when he was elected. I liked Bush 1. I never liked Clinton and still don't. I liked Bush2 for his first term, and would have voted him out after. I didn't like Obama or pay much attention to him in his first term, as being awarded a Pulitzer seemed way over the top, and the hype that surrounded him. I came to like Obama in his second term. I liked Trump back in the early 80s due to his success at getting an ice rink to work, when the NYC brains couldn't figure it out. When Trump came to the forefront I could not believe the venom he spewed; that and his lead asshole role on his reality show, which I never sat through an episode in its entirety.

I like Biden for now at this time. I think he realizes what's ahead for him, and I hope he doesn't disappoint. For anyone so ingrained in their belief that Trump is good for America, open your eyes, shake your head and move to enlightenment.
I think most like-minded people of goodwill would agree that holding any President as a can-do-nothing-wrong icon who should be exalted and listened to without critically examining them are fools. Few and far between in circles where goodwill and character exist. It's pure idol worship, and enough to turn my stomach when the tired old BS makes its way to the light of day from theses deluded close-minded louts.

My 2 cents. I hope to be discussing other important topics here soon enough now that people of goodwill the world over are sleeping better with adults in the Capitol buildings.
