I believe that's because "influencers" get paid through Parler for advertising, so taxes must be paid - that nasty socialism demanding its vig, dontcha know?

See this from July, which I just found:
https://www.cnbc.com/2020/07/02/how-parler-app-plans-to-make-money.html

“Our business model is going to be an ad revenue model. The idea of how we’re going to do it isn’t going to be a centralized model for ads, it will be specific around influencers. So advertisers will target influencers and those people with a large reach, rather than us as a platform,” Parler CEO and founder John Matze told CNBC’s “Squawk Box” on Thursday.

Parler provides various user Parler verification badges based on relationship to the platform and public status. Here is the breakdown…

Parler verified influencer badge

Verified Influencers are users with a large following who run the risk of being impersonated. These badges are to protect the user’s authenticity.

And there was the Bandido user badge that was just a badge with an attitude.

poopers advertising became dependent on a influencers traffic, sort of the way video game streamers generate a lot of hidden income from viewers. 'buy me a coffee' and others like sponsorship schemes Patreon.

Twit has many of the same things as well. Lot of these the streamer basically begs people to join the income schemes. Not even mentioning ad click throughs and product placements in vids.

Here's a quick link to what I'm explaining.
