I‘ve had a strange experience as well. In 23 years of trading, it‘s happened to me for the first time, that my broker was unable to even place an order in the market. It‘s been like this continuously, since the XMas holidays. I‘ve been attempting to increase my position, for almost two weeks now. All orders were first seemingly accepted, but then deleted, in less than a minute. The system response was „Rejected by server“. I thought, I was going crazy, when nobody was able to fix this, day after day. I even contacted OTC Markets, because it seemed like the market place itself had been turning down people at random. It didn’t seem like equitable market access anymore. But they looked into it and found no irregularities, so they suggested, I should take this up with my brokerage firm, so I did. They confirmed the issue with their routing partner, but were unable to offer a solution or even an explanation. This went on, for almost two weeks, until this Thursday. I know that I was not alone with this. Somebody here shared an identical experience, and it also happened to a friend of mine, who uses an entirely different broker than I. It still doesn’t work for him. Yesterday, I finally got a message from my broker, that the system had been successfully adjusted. Unfortunately, after unending difficulties, with no solution in sight, I had already pulled out the funds, I was trying to allocate, in the hopes of activating a new investment account elsewhere, so I would have an alternative platform for trading trip stocks. But I‘m not quite there yet, so I sent most of those funds right back, after I was able to confirm, that the orders were actually no longer being deleted. But those funds are still in transit, and I can only take a new shot at this on Friday. You can imagine, how p... I was, when the bid/ask situation completely turned around, in mid-session. In the early hours, there was an Ask of several hundred million shares at 0.0001, so I could have jumped in easily, if only the funds had already arrived at their destination. By the end of day, there were over 3 billion shares, shown as the current bid. So instead of no Q, the waiting list now seems endless. I‘m not really surprised at all the demand at 0.0001. It‘s been like this for days, only that the selling orders were coming in, even faster. Apparently the company itself was behind that, as we‘ve seen at least 28 billion new shares issued. If this supply has ceased, it would make sense for the bid to rush upwards, very quickly, if only the selling side has changed. But now, I‘m reading here, that there must have been massive cancellations of transactions at 0.0002, so perhaps there‘s a chance to get filled at 0.0001, after all, if the stock should have never traded this way. It just keeps getting stranger. Another curiosity I observed yesterday, is that a 15 million ask at 0.0001, by a MM symbol I hadn’t seen before, was continuously displayed, when it should have disappeared, based on market activity. In any case, this is a totally wild ride, and some events seem unprecedented, or at least unusual. I‘m eager to see, what will happen next. I‘ll be trying to increase my position again, after going in circles now, since Christmas. Such things shouldn’t be possible. GLTA.
