Thanks for posting Eileen McDermott's article. She is devoted to pointing out the problem with the Section 101 Alice. The Fed Circuit and NDCal seems to have a policy of using section 101 Alice to reject patents outright at the earliest.
Interestingly, when the Fed Circuit ruled the LG case in favor of a patent owner, Eileen was the one to point out that VPLM case was quite similar to LG case and why VPLM patents were rejected based on Alice by NDCal.
I think that news clip was picked up by Mr. Hudnell in a timely fashion.
