Ok big boy - you made this statement which is false - al Qaeda was not in Iraq before we invaded and our main combatants were never al Qaeda but bathists and former military under Saddam. They had access to all the weapons and were being protected by the local population. It has primarily always been the coalition forces against the insurgents with al Qaeda coming in and trying to start a civil war which they have been successful at starting. Successful because we have been totally inept and incompetent in fighting this war. Instead of giving the medal of freedom to the idiot who desolved the bathist army and infrastructure we should have left Ret Gen Garver (sp?) who wanted to keep the army and political infrastructure at the lower levels and get elections asap. But we needed to control the oil and the contracts and wanted to delay the elections. A real pity.
