Question Mermelstein, in your opinion do you think another "Rule 1" - that history always repeats itself, overrules your rule 1? Specifically, in regards to fiat currency?

Or are we just in a new paradigm on a daily /weekly/monthly basis where without a clear event, your rule 1 will reign supreme with no end in the foreseeable future?
