Haven't either, yet. Saw plenty of bears in the wild. One chased me one summer while i was working
on the Banff-Jasper Highway. Thank goodness it gave up pretty fast as he was faster than i was.

glad you made it out. I was always taught that they could only run in spurts, but very fast. As long as you outlasted them, they'd give up.
The couple of bears I saw turned tail.... Little brownies. But it was cool just to get a glimpse.
I still have my turkey story and that was the time where I could have shit my pants, but after I gathered myself I was all mother nature.
Now we have coyotes coming back to the city and for whatever reason I like them.
LOL I paid to go swim with the dolphins one time and they tried to drown me. Remind me to tell that story one day. I was so disheartened because I thought we were all on the same team.
