Its common knowledge that the MJ legalization bill cannot be passed before the Covid legislation is first passed- the optics of prioritization have to be maintained.
Since Covid bill passage was delayed by a week or so, the MJ bill cannot be brought up till early January. The Senate will pass it, since the majority of republicans know the handwriting is on the wall regarding public desire to bring the fed govt. closer in line with what the states are already doing (they also need the revenue).
Plan on a large boost to the MJ market in general when this occurs (again, common knowledge). And since we have already seen how MCOA individually is positively affected, look for Our real upturn to occur upon passage.
Instead of instant day trader gratification, we will have to wait a month or so- no big deal.
