A sister company, Gravelotte Gold mine is an underground and opencast operation, where various research programmes are underway and focussed on enhancing gold recoveries from the different ore bodies. Feasibility studies undertaken on the mine have increased the resource from a SAMREC measured 1-million ounce deposit to potentially over 10-million ounces. Specialised technologies being applied allow a low-cost extraction of less than 0,4gpt for the high volume and lower grade ore body.
