For me..It’s a no brainer..!! There must be something holding your Doctor back..!!!

And in my opinion you should be taking also Vit K 2 with Vit D3 .. this is many people problem if they don’t ..

Research Vit K 2 , very important and neglected by many vitamin ..

But this is imo only .
